Hi, I'm Arlo. I was adopted on July 10!

Chihuahua Mix

White and Tan

Adult, Male

Arlo is a teeny-tiny 2-year-old Chihuahua Mix that tips the scales at just 4 pounds. He’s a happy and wiggly little guy with a cheerful and upbeat outlook on life. Currently in foster care, Arlo is doing great with his house training and he’s pretty good on the leash. He has a cute bouncy prance when he’s out for a walk! Arlo never got any obedience training in his former home, so his adopter will need to start with the basics. He can be startled by loud noises and he can take a minute to warm up to new people. Arlo will find his comfort zone in a quiet, stable adult household where people are around much of the day. This little cutie is a great lap dog and he’ll snuggle with you all day long! Due to his very fragile and small size, we are looking for a home with no kids and no large dogs. Ramps and stairs can help tiny dogs like this get up and down from furniture without the risk of fracturing a tiny leg bone. Arlo gets along great with cats and with other small dogs. He is available for meet and greets once your online dog application has been approved.

Due to COVID and high demand, preference is given to residents of Monterey County and Santa Cruz County.
