Hi, I'm Hunter. I was adopted on October 17!

German Shorthaired Pointer Mix

Brown and Tan

Baby, Male

Eager to fill your world with wags and puppy kisses, Hunter is a 2-month-old, 11-pound German Shorthaired Pointer puppy that was raised in foster  care after coming to AFRP from the Hitchcock Road Animal Services. With a bouncy, fun and playful personality, Hunter loves to play with his toys and romp with his dog friends. Smart and eager to please, Hunter will be easy to train using treats and positive reinforcement. This is an active breed and Hunter will do best with an adopter looking for a hiking, walking or jogging partner. He will likely weigh 55-65 pounds as an adult dog. This is not an apartment dog and Hunter would love a home with a securely fenced back yard for exploring and playing fetch. Let us know if you have the time and commitment necessary for raising and training a fabulous puppy. Meet and greets can be arranged once your online application is received and approved.
