Animal Friends Rescue Project enabling us to fulfill our mission and

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Group Raises $3,100 for AFRP!
A big thank you to organizer Janet McTurk and all the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel families who braved a cold and windy day at Carmel Beach April 19 to have fun and raise money for AFRP! Throngs of Cavies and their people were dressed in their finest pirate garb for this annual event. At the end of the day over $3,100 was raised for AFRP! - The Kathleen and Howard Marks Fund and the Rudy E. Futer Fund for Human & Humane
Needs of the Community Foundation for Monterey County for $16,000 to provide
funding for spay/neuter surgeries for the dogs and cats we rescue and to
purchase equipment for our new adoption center.
- The Handsel Foundation for $10,000 to help AFRP spay and neuter
at least 200 of the 2,000 cats and dogs AFRP will rescue in the coming
year.
- The Harden Foundation for $15,000 to help board rescued dogs and
spay and neuter at least 200 of the 2,000 cats and dogs AFRP will
rescue in the coming year.
- The Pebble Beach AT&T Foundation for $19,500 to help with spay/neuter
expenses for the animals we rescue as well as to purchase equipment
for our offices and adoption center.
- The Ahimsa Foundation for $5,000 to help with medical expenses
for the animals we rescue.
- The Glide Foundation for $4,000 to help us purchase equipment for
our offices and adoption center.
- The Aon Foundation for $1,000 matching their employee Shannon Chaffin's
donation of $1,000. Shannon is an AFRP volunteer.

our garage sale to benefit the Feral Cat Fund:
