Looking For a Home

Tiny, also known as Bonnie Blue, is one of the sweetest cats at our adoption center. She's a toothless 5-year-old Lynx Point Siamese mix with big blue eyes and a soft, fluffy coat. Life can sometimes be unfair, and the first part of Tiny's life was full of hardship. She had been abandoned and was just skin and bones when she was recued, covered with scratches and bite wounds.

But things are looking up for Tiny now. She has gained weight and her coat is shiny and fluffy. She spends her days at the AFRP Adoption Center doing her favorite things - either napping on her favorite cat tree perch, or curling up in the nearest available lap. She has become a big favorite with our volunteers, who love to cuddle her and brush her long coat.

Tiny tolerates the other cats at the adoption center, but it's almost as though she's still nervous that one of them might attack her. Memories of her days on the streets, no doubt. She'd be happiest in a home where she is a single cat. Tiny has wonderful house manners and knows to stay off the furniture until invited up. She is perfect with her litter box and loves bird-watching and sunning herself near a window. Even though she has no teeth, she eats wet or dry food with no problems.

Can you give Tiny's story a happy ending? Meet this sweet cat at the AFRP Adopton Center, 560 Lighthouse Ave in Pacific Grove.

Every Life Counts

Tiny is just one of thousands of animals AFRP have rescued since 1998.

AFRP has a lifetime commitment to every animal that comes into our care. We do not put animals down because they have been with us too long or have special medical needs. Tiny is anxious to find a permanent home because although she is off the streets and safe--she'll quickly tell you that being an orphan is not fun. She wants to find a special family to call her own.

AFRP depends on volunteers and donations from the general public to rescue approximately 1,900 dogs and cats each year. Won't you help us save more cats like Tiny?
