Looking For a Home

Tiffany’s military family moved overseas and left her behind. That was over two years ago, and Tiffany is still waiting for her forever home. No, she’s not a shy cat, she’s not a biter, she’s not loud or demanding. She’s simply a sweet little brown tabby who has been overlooked far too long.

Tiffany would love a person or a family who appreciates the laid-back nature of a mature cat. She’s an easygoing lap cat, and spends much of her day napping and meditating. Of course, she has her playful moments too, and isn’t above a silly roll in the catnip! When she wants some attention, she’ll ask for your attention by politely tapping you with her paw! How cute is that?

Tiffany recently spent some time in foster care with one of our staff members, and he said Tiffany was a very affectionate, quiet and mellow cat who was very easy to have around the house. She has perfect manners and would be a wonderful match for someone looking for a single kitty companion. She gets a bit anxious around other cats and dogs, and would do best as the “one and only” pet in the home.

It’s not always easy to find someone to love you when you’re older, but at age 13, Tiffany still has plenty of years to share with a family that will give her the chance. She’s a healthy girl, though like many cats her age, Tiffany tends to develop urinary crystals, so she eats a special food to prevent crystals from forming in her bladder.

Tiffany is a graceful, gentle older girl and would treasure the opportunity to spend the remainder of her years with a person of her own. Someone that will be there to stroke her when she needs some companionship, welcome her onto their lap, offer her a treat (or two), and best of all, let her know that she is safe and loved.

Give us a call for more information about Tiffany, or meet her at the Posh Pets adoption location, 160 Fountain Ave in Pacific Grove. Through the month of June, Tiffany’s adoption fee will be reduced to $50 in honor of National Adopt-a-Cat month!

Every Life Counts

Tiffany is just one of thousands of animals AFRP have rescued since 1998.

AFRP has a lifetime commitment to every animal that comes into our care. We do not put animals down because they have been with us too long or have special medical needs. Tiffany is anxious to find a permanent home because although she is off the streets and safe--she'll quickly tell you that being an orphan is not fun. She wants to find a special family to call her own.

AFRP depends on volunteers and donations from the general public to rescue approximately 1,900 dogs and cats each year. Won't you help us save more animals like Tiffany?
