AFRP Jade is Looking for a Home!

Meet Jade!

I am a very sweet 1-2 year old happy girl. I am talkative and energetic cat that likes to be involved with my person(s). I’d love to be the center of your attention. I am happy being an indoor-only cat staying with you where I feel safe. I will not dart out opening doors or escape out open windows. I like to sleep in dark places during the day, sometimes burrowing under the covers just for fun, but especially when there are loud noises outside that I don’t like, like car doors slamming. But I’m always out by evening, excited to eat, play, and sit with you in your favorite chair all night, purring happily, only taking breaks to play.

I hope you like to play because I love to chase ping pong balls, string, small plush animals, and just about anything you toss my way. Once I even had a favorite styrofoam ball that I would fetch and drop at feet to be thrown over and over again, just like a dog! I like to run back for praise, approval, and petting when I play before I dart out to pounce on my "prey" again. I am not shy by nature, and am very social once I know you, but I do hide when new people arrive.

Lastly, I can melt you with my intense eyes and beat you at a staring contest every time. My foster parent knows me well and would be happy to answer any questions you have about me.
