AFRP helps local shelters by taking in homeless mamma cats with kittens and motherless orphaned kittens that need a safe place to stay until they are old enough to be adopted.

AFRP is feeling the pinch of tough economic times, and caring for these precious feline families is very expensive. The food, formula, medication, spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations and microchipping costs AFRP an average of $750 per mamma cat with a litter of four kittens, or about $200 per single kitten.

We don’t want to turn away healthy, adoptable cats and kittens this year for financial reasons. That’s why we are reaching out to you for help.
