Animal Friends Rescue Project is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization supported by contributions from people like you. We have been providing life saving services to companion animals since 1998. Your donation will help us continue to find good homes for abandoned, stray, and abused companion animals as well as help us continue our aggressive spay/neuter programs. Corporate Matching Program

Did you know that you can double the amount of your donation to Animal Friends? Many employers are willing to match the charitable contributions of their employees (whether it be for an adoption, donating on line, tribute giving, etc.). Matching gifts are usually matched dollar for dollar (often by just completing a simple company form). So check out your company rules, please inquire at your employer's Human Resources or Personnel Department to determine if you have a Matching Gift Program and help the animals twice as much!

Donate A Car

Your donation of a used car, truck van, RV or boat to Animal Friends Rescue Project helps us rescue more homeless animals. We will arrange to transfer the title, have the car picked up, and will send you an acknowledgment of the donation for your records. Your vehicle will then be auctioned off by the Vehicle Donation Process Center, Inc. to raise money to help our rescued animals. If your vehicle generates a gross sale in excess of $500, the Vehicle Donation Process Center, Inc will mail you a postcard directly providing you with the gross sale price of your donation for tax purposes. Please refer any questions regarding your allowable tax deduction to your tax professional. Sponsor an Ad

Do you want to help a dog or cat get adopted and gain visibility for your business at the same time? Why not sponsor a newspaper photo ad for one of AFRP’s homeless cats or dogs? These highly successful ads help get additional exposure for some of our animals who have been looking an extra long time for a loving, forever home. Birthday/Wedding Benefit

If you or someone you know is having a birthday party, make it an AFRP benefit party. This idea works for adults and children alike. Or if you are getting married, consider listing AFRP in your "registry", so your friends will know that helping AFRP is as high priority as receiving another toaster.

Young people are passionate about helping animals, and often ask how they can help the AFRP animals that are waiting for homes. Holding birthday parties, bake sales, garage sales and classroom donation drives are just a few of the ways young people have helped AFRP animals. Kids 12 and over can become AFRP Youth Volunteers. The AFRP Treasure Shop is located at 154-17th Street between Lighthouse and Central in Pacific Grove. The shop specializes in antiques, furniture, jewelry, elegant clothing, collectibles, and more! All proceeds help support AFRP's rescue and adoption programs. Shop hours are Monday - Saturday 10 AM - 4 PM. Donations and volunteers are always welcomed and appreciated. Other Ways You Can Help

• Spay or neuter your pets to prevent unwanted litters
  
  
• Make sure your pets wear id tags so that they can be returned to you if they become lost or wander away from home
  
  
• Provide a warm loving home for life for your animals
  
  
• Provide your animals with shelter, food, water and the necessary veterinary care
  
  
• Adopt your next pet from Animal Friends or your local shelter and encourage others to do the same
