Animal Friends Rescue Project rescues animals in the most dire need, we concentrate on taking animals from local animal shelters that are at risk of being euthanized. We generally do not take animals from the public but do make exceptions through our Compassionate Surrender Program.

Our Compassionate Surrender Program enables us to take dogs or cats into our care on a case by case basis with a minimum donation of $500 for a cat and $1,000 for a dog. Your donation ensures that the animal you surrender will be cared for until he/she is placed in an appropriate permanent home and your donation also enables us to rescue even more animals in need. All proceeds from our Compassionate Surrender Program help fund our rescue and adoption program. Please also consider our Stay At Home Rescue program, where we help famlies who need to find new homes for their pets while the pets remain in their care.
