Outdoor Cats
Do you have a ranch, barn, greenhouse, workshop or studio that could be a safe haven for a feral cat or two? If you can provide food, water and shelter for feral cats who needs a safe, secure outdoor home, please contact us. Bennie is a Clark Gable of a cat; the photo doesn't do him justice. He's so handsome in his shiny black tux and white bib. And such a love-bug! Just over 3 years old, fixed and tested and had shots. Very mellow and happy, gets along with other cats and loves to be petted. The new owner will need to be patient with him at first because of his former-feral skittishness, and he might not be good with small kids for the same reason. Indoor-outdoor would be best: he's outside-savvy and enjoys being in nature. Inquiries please to: Annie @ 831-458-0891 or atparker@pacbell.net

Polly
Posted 10/1/15. Sweet, smart and resourceful Polly needs a new home. Found living under our deck in the Santa Cruz mountains, this affectionate kitty (approximately 7-8 yrs of age) was clearly part of a loving household at one point. She is spayed, all shots have been updated and the vet says she is in excellent health. Polly (so named because she is polydactyl--i.e. has extra toes on her front paws) packs a big personality in her little body--she purrs easily, loves to be petted and has clearly demonstrated her intelligence by surviving outside in Bonny Doon. She loves people and dogs; please give this kitty the loving home she deserves. Polly is not an AFRP cat, for more information please call Kathy at 831-325-6685 or email kathyton0623@gmail.com
Comet and Ezra
Posted 9/22/15. Comet and Ezra are a bonded pair of 3-month-old orange and white brothers who are looking for a home together. They were found abandoned in a park as newborns, next to a bowl of water and food they were too young to eat. Bottle fed and raised by a kind citizen, these wonderful boys grew up to be happy, healthy and playful kittens who are good with other cats, dogs and children. They are neutered and vaccinated. They are perfect with their litter box and know how to use their scratching post instead of furniture. Comet and Ezra are not AFRP cats, for more information please call or text Linda at 707-344-6559 or email lindacmartindds@gmail.com

Brian
Post renewed 1-18-16. The life of Brian has not always been easy. Abandoned on the streets and living off handouts, Brian was lucky to meet a human who is trying to help him find a loving home. Problem is, Brian tested positive for FIV, which means he might not get a chance to be put up for adoption at an animal shelter. Brian is a friendly and loving fellow who loves to chat and follow you around the house. He is neutered. He can live a long and happy life, but should be an indoor-only cat. Don't let the FIV stigma prevent you from offering this great cat a home! Brian is not an AFRP cat and currently lives in Concord, CA. For more info call Brandon at 415-519-4542 or email bhgrissom@hotmail.com
Rex
Posted 8/3/15. Hi, my name is Rex. I wandered into the right person's backyard at the end of May. We're not sure what happened to my previous family, but I'm very comfortable lounging around indoors and watching "kitty TV" (squirrels and birds) from the windowsill. The vet says I'm a healthy, neutered boy between 10mo and 1 yr old. I've been around a Golden Retriever dog for 3 days, and am confident enough to get along. I love to play fetch if you just throw a ball for me, and after I have some exercise, I'm happy to flop down beside you and purr so loudly that it sounds like I'm snoring! If we sound like we're made for each other, call Jody at (415) 205-8744 and she'll arrange for us to meet. Rex is not an AFRP cat.
Charlie
Posted 8-3-15. Charlie is a friendly two-year-old neutered male Tabby who loves basking in the sun on a windowsill. Although Charlie is an indoor cat, he loves keeping an eye on the birds outside. He has been raised by me and my husband, but unfortunately I have a severe allergy to cats that was unknown before we adopted him. Charlie is loving and sweet. He will also be playful if you tempt him with a feather or string. He gets along great with our medium sized dog - they love to wrestle! Charlie is not an AFRP cat and currently lives in Pacific Grove. For more info please contact Melissa and Nick Graham, 765-238-0779 or email mel.r.graham@gmail.com
Cyrus
Posted 7/22/15. Cyrus is a sweet and mellow 9-year-old neutered male Persian/Ragdoll mix in need of a loving home. He's a perfect gentleman who never scratches and has great litter box manners. He has a soft, long coat and gorgeous copper eyes. Cyrus has always been an indoor-only cat and is looking for the same. He is good with other cats and loves meeting new people. He is a great lap cat, loves being brushed and is perfect in every way. Cyrus currently lives in Monterey and is not an AFRP cat. For more information about meeting or adopting him, please call Valerie at 831-402-0765.

Post renewed 11-3-15. Olive is an extremely affectionate 5-year-old spayed female tuxedo cat in need of a loving home. She gets along nicely with other cats, dogs and children and is in perfect health. Olive is an indoor/outdoor kitty and her favorite activities are sleeping and hunting. Olive's owner is moving and she's hoping to avoid going to the shelter environment. She had a recent vet check-up and is ready to join your family! Terrific cat! Olive is not an AFRP cat and currently lives in San Jose. For more information please email jillmalone@gmail.com
Cookie
Post renewed 11-4-15. Cookie is a sweet 13-year-old spayed female Lynx Point Siamese with baby blue eyes and cute pink nose. She is good with other gentle cats but would be happiest as a single kitty in the home. She likes to sit next to you on the sofa, where she will serenade you with a happy purr! She loves Greenies and will remind you when it's time for treats. Cookie can be a scaredy cat around dogs and kids, so would do best in an adult home. She needs to drink plenty of water to avoid kidney stones. He adopter will get her toys and litter box. Cookie lives in Carmel and is not an AFRP cat. For more info please call 831-801-7384 or email carolynjohnson9@yahoo.com
Callie
Post renewed 11-4-15. Callie is a gorgeous 3-4 year old spayed female calico cat with a sweet and loving personality. She's your constant companion and will walk with you around the garden and settle down for a nice nap by your side. She is litter box trained and knows how to use a cat door. Callie yearns to be an indoor cat, but sadly her family is allergic and Callie must sleep in the garage at night and Callie does not get the petting or lap time she craves. Callie will thrive in a calm, loving dog-free household where she'll get the attention she deserves. Callie is not an AFRP cat and currently lives in Carmel Valley. For more info please call Carolyn at 831-659-9127 or email carolynzie@gmail.com
